FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What payment methods are available?

You have several means of payment in the "Babusia" store:
- Credit card via Stripe.
- Paypal.
- Bank transfer.
- Cheque (only in France).
- or cash for collection in Godewaersvelde.
If you choose this last option, send me an e-mail to contact@babusia.com so that I can reserve the item (72 hours) and give you the address for collection. Once the 72 hours have passed, if you have not come forward or not come to collect the item, it will be put back on sale.

Is payment on the "Babusia" website
secure?

The "Babusia" website is fully secured in HTTPS.
Payments are handled by Stripe, reputed to be the most secure payment platform for credit card payments.

Is my ordered item available?

All one-of-a-kind items are available.

Only the items in the "Low prices" tab are made to order and require 1 to 5 days for completion before being dispatched. You can send an e-mail to contact@babusia.com to find out how long it will take to make the jewel before ordering.

How long will it take to ship my order?

All orders placed on the "Babusia" website will be dispatched within 1 to 2 working days of receipt of payment. (the delay will be longer for jewelry made to order and if I'm away, but I always put a message on the home page to let you know).

Orders are dispatched from Tuesday to Saturday (no dispatch on Mondays as the post office is closed).

Delivery times will be longer for payment by cheque, as the order will be dispatched once the cheque has been received and deposited.
* "Babusia" is not responsible for any postal delays.

What are the shipping costs?

Tracked letter postage costs 3 euros for France and 6 euros for Europe and the rest of the world. These rates are fixed regardless of the number of items ordered.

Colissimo postage costs 5 euros for France and 14 euros for Europe. For countries outside the European Union, please send a message to contact@babusia.com for rates.
Shipping is free for orders of 120 euros in France and 160 euros in other countries.

Am I responsible for any taxes and customs duties?

Customs duties and taxes related to the delivery of an item outside of France are the responsibility of the customer.

"Babusia" is not obliged to check and inform its customers of applicable customs duties and taxes. It is the customer's responsibility to check with the competent authorities in his or her own country to find out about these.

What delivery methods are available?

Deliveries in France and abroad are made by recorded delivery for jewelry and are handled by the French Post Office.
You will be given a tracking number when you make your purchase.

You can also choose the colissimo option (at a higher cost).

How long does it take to return an item?

You have a period of 14 working days from delivery to return your purchases for a refund if they do not suit you.
In this case, please send an e-mail to contact@babusia.com, who will tell you what to do.
Items must be returned in their original packaging and in new condition.

For jewelry made to order, no returns are accepted.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

You are entirely responsible for return shipping costs.

How can I keep up to date with "Babusia - The Slavic soul"?

We strongly advise you to subscribe to our newsletter to find out when the online sales will take place and for how long, as from now on they will be ephemeral sales only, with the exception of items made to order, which can be found in the "Low prices" tab.

Items will remain on the online boutique for one, two or even three months maximum, before moving on to physical boutiques.
