HOW DO I CREATE?
What I create is not born solely from a desire for beauty.
Babusia was not born from a folk trend, nor from an aesthetic universe designed to please. It was born from my family history. From the women I have known. From knotted scarves. From faces I encountered as a child.
What I design today is not an imaginary projection. It is a memory. And perhaps, one day, something I will see disappear. I am Virginie, creator of Babusia. Inspired by my memories and my Polish origins, I create jewellery by hand, using thread, glass beads and a world shaped by my memories.
Each piece is unique.
I do not follow trends: my creations are born from a season, a light, a colour, a specific moment. The collections appear, remain for as long as the momentum that gave birth to them lasts, then fade away to make room for others. Creating in this way means accepting the rhythm of the seasons, working without overproduction and allowing each piece the time to exist.

Invitations are sent by email 4 to 6 times a year:
