Is Babusia jewellery handmade?
Yes.
Every piece of Babusia jewellery is designed and then hand-woven using thread and Japanese glass beads.
This craftsmanship requires many hours of work.
Every piece is unique: no two pieces of jewellery are ever exactly the same.
Are Babusia jewellery pieces one-of-a-kind?
Yes.
Babusia creations are made as one-off pieces.
Each piece is the result of craftsmanship and a colour scheme unique to that piece. Once sold, the piece is generally not reproduced.
Is the jewellery durable?
Babusia jewellery is made using Japanese glass beads renowned for their quality and consistency. As with all handcrafted jewellery, it is recommended to avoid:
- water
- chemicals
- prolonged rubbing
To preserve your jewellery, we recommend storing it away from moisture and impacts.
Where can you find Babusia jewellery?
Babusia creations are available:
- at private sales accessible upon subscribing to the newsletter.
- in selected partner boutiques
Each collection is released seasonally and remains available for a limited time.
How can I stay informed about upcoming Babusia collections?
Babusia creations are available during private sales held four times a year.
The newsletter is the only way to access them.
Subscribers receive a link and a password allowing them to explore each new collection.
Private sales are open for a limited time, until stocks run out.
What payment methods are available for Babusia private sales?
During Babusia private sales, you can pay for your purchases:
Via Stripe, which allows you to use various payment methods such as Visa, debit card or PayPal.

The item can be reserved for 72 hours. After this time, if there is no confirmation or collection, it will be put back on sale.
How long will it take to ship my order?
Orders are usually dispatched within 1 to 3 working days of receipt of payment.
Shipments are made from Tuesday to Friday.
No shipments are made on Mondays and rarely on Saturdays.
Babusia cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by postal services.
Is payment on the "Babusia" website
secure?
Yes. The Babusia website is secured using the HTTPS protocol, which protects your personal and banking details.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a solution renowned for its reliability and high level of security.
Your banking details are never stored on the Babusia website.
Is my ordered item available?
Babusia creations are one-of-a-kind pieces.
The shop operates on the Webacappella platform, which does not automatically manage stock levels. It is therefore possible that an item may still appear as available even though it has just been purchased.
In this case, the first confirmed order takes priority.
If the item is no longer available, the customer will be notified promptly and receive a full refund.
What are the shipping costs?
Postage costs for a tracked letter are:
€3.50 for France
€6.50 for Europe and international
Certain items (such as cuffs or bulky items) are sent via Colissimo.
Delivery is free:
on orders of €120 or more in France
on orders of €200 or more internationally
Am I responsible for any taxes and customs duties?
For deliveries outside France, customs duties or local taxes may apply.
Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer and are subject to the regulations of the destination country.
Babusia cannot be held liable for these charges.
What delivery methods are available?
Jewellery measuring less than 3 cm is sent by tracked post via La Poste.
A tracking number is provided after dispatch.
Larger items of jewellery (bracelets, etc.) are sent via Colissimo.
How long does it take to return an item?
You have 14 days from receipt to request a return.
Items must be returned:
- in their original packaging
- in perfect condition
- unworn

Do I have to pay for return shipping?
Yes. Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.
